Áine joins Beverly Stoddart for a conversation about her book that gives a way forward for those who want to write and are encumbered with a day job or even those who just want a how-to to make their writing better with reviewing and revising their work. It’s a fun, informative read that helps you to “clear your throat before you can sing,” also save you from the dreaded overused adverb, choose or not to join a writer’s group, and make your characters, “move and talk and twitch: all at the same time.”
​When an author faces the staggering statistic that just 1%-2% of all manuscripts are published, the question is how do you get published? InDepthNH.org and the New Hampshire Writers’ Project tackled this issue at the Zoom event. Panelists sharing their own experiences in developing a book and then finding ways to publish them included, Masheri Chappelle, Jean Duffy, Bev Stohl, and Laura Beretsky.
